This Sleep Power Pack contains two separate guided visualisations that are designed to be played before going to sleep.
The overall concept behind these visualisations is that sleep problems are usually associated with too much thinking activity occurring just before going to sleep. This thinking activity does not have to be conscious it can act an unconscious level as well meaning that you are not always aware that you may be distressed or disturbed about something. Usually the thinking and associated emotions that prevent sleep are negative in nature. This then causes a stress response in the body leading to a disturbed sleep pattern. If you have ever been aware of worrying about something before going to sleep you will understand what I mean.
The thoughts that you go to bed with have a powerful impact not only on your sleep but also on your life as well. This is because information doesn’t get transferred into your long term memory during the day it only gets transferred into your long term memory when you sleep at night. This also means that the thoughts that you go to bed with at night have a very high probability of getting transferred directly into your long term memory. This is especially the case when it is combined with strong emotion. This occurs because one of your key memory centers is located in the same part of the brain as your basic primal emotions.
This is the concept that these guided visualisation are based on. Both visualisations are 50 minutes in length but they differ in the content and number of items that your brain processes before sleep. Both visualisations have specially designed background music to not only help you sleep but also ensure that your long term memory gets filled with positive thoughts and emotions which will lead to your long term success and happiness.
The first track is called sleep long and consists of 6 items that you will use to ensure a good nights sleep as well as you future success and happiness. These items include:
1. Removing anything that may have occurred during the day that you found unsettling or disturbing
2. Handing over problems and concerns to that higher aspect of self
3. Reviewing your day and assessing what you would do differently next time
4. Programming your brain to deliver you your perfect day tomorrow
5. Programming your brain with positive thoughts about yourself
6. Programming your brain to give you the perfect sleep and what time you would like to be awoken in the morning
The second track is called sleep long and consists of 4 items that you will use to ensure a good nights sleep as well as you future success and happiness. These items include:
1. Programming your brain with positive thoughts about yourself
2. Programming your brain to bring you more peace, love, joy and happiness
3. Handing over concerns and becoming one with that higher aspect of you
4. Programming your brain to give you the perfect sleep and what time you would like to be awoken in the morning
It is recommended that you start out by listening to track one until you develop a consistent sleep pattern and then move onto track two. These guided visualisations are very powerful in ensuring your future success and happiness. How you respond and interact with life comes down to what is stored in your long term memory.
